Simplist

Only thing missing is sync capability with a website where user can also add items/edit faster than on iPhone. Having just lost all of my data in another application, this is a high priorty. Will joyfully add Fifth Star for sync!

This is a very simple, straight forward app, exactly what all iphone apps should be. Stuff like Omnifocus just seems overwhelming with all the options you have. I am very happy with this APP, highly recommended if you like simplicity! LOVE IT!

I have purchased several apps for organizing and making lists such as grocery lists and to do lists and there are many to chose from. This app has replaced them all. It is simple, intuitive and fast. Most of the others are multi functional and have become too bloated. I wanted a quick and easy list maker and this is it. When I think of a grocery item I want to purchase, I can quickly add it and later retrieve it at the store without trying to figure out which isle or how much it costs or what the tax is etc. highly recommended.

Five stars now. I've been using two free to-do apps, but liked this enough to replace one because it allows sublists while allowing you to edit the main list titles. It is very clean on the add-item end, but unless I am missing something it us quite cumbersome to delete. It needs the finger swipe feature for the fifth star. For now I use this for lists and ToDo's for to-do list.

I downloaded the free version and started using it so much I upgraded to the full version. What can I say, I have a lot of Apps. And this one is on my first page!

Tried the free version then decided to pay for ad free version. I came from the palm and this is the perfect todo replacement. Extremely easy to use. Love all the different sorting options it has. This is only 2! Thank you for creating such a simple todo list for me to keep track of all my goals & shopping lists. Going to delete all those other todo apps I got now.

This app is outstanding- not sure why anyone needs the more involved GTD-based apps if you use this one to
it's full potential. A *steal* at the price.

Simplist is a great replacement for the native Palm to-do list: it's very straight forward with easy category creation and management, sorting within lists either alphabetically or by hand, and a large notes field with each item. Due dates and priorities can be easily turned off, a plus for those of us who don't use them. The font is set fairly large (probably so finger input doesn't check off more than one item at a time) and can't be changed so the number of items that appear on the screen is smaller than one might wish, but flick scrolling works as well here as anywhere else so no big deal. All in all a bargain with a very clean, simple design for those of us with simple needs.

love the simplicity of the program. just what I was looking for. *the one thing I really wish was an option - to hide / show checked items in a list. so that once you check an item off, it not only grays the item out but you can have the checked items hidden on the list, with an option to toggle show/hide checked items. 5 stars once that gets added!

This is the perfect app list maker for those that want something SIMPLE but totally efficient. And this it is. All other apps are just too complicated. This makes my life so much easier!!!!

Does just what it says, and it works well! Fast loading, easy and intuitive control, and many options to do just what you want.

Please make font size adjustable and font color options

This is the closest thing to the old Palm OS To Do list, which was perfect for me. It's easy to make lists, sort the items, and check things off. The adjustable badge is great. The only new feature I would like to see is a master list that lets me see all the items in my "badgeable" lists together. And it's only 99 cents!

Fantastic app. You can create multiple lists and has plenty of options within them, such as sort by alpha, due date, or delete all completed tasks. Love it.

This app is really good at what it's supposed to do! Just a suggestion, maybe if you can add a grouping feature so we are able to group different lists together (i.e. school group, work group, etc) that would really make this app worth the five stars! Keep up the good work =]

I have tried several list apps and this one is by far the best. It allows me to make my list, name them and organize them so that I have Grocery List, To Do list, Errand List, Gift List, etc. I love this app. It is just what I have been looking for. I hope that you will update it later to sync with ical. That would be great.

Simple and very easy to use, can enter items fast, organize....good product design.

This app is exactly what I was looking for. It is well worth the buck! However, if I could make one request, that would be some sort of method for syncing/backing up the todo lists with ical or stickies, etc.
If the syncing capability were added, this app would definitely be 5 stars.

One of the best apps I've used. This app is NOT COMPLICATED at all, and its straight to the point. The color priority and checkbox options are very handy. My only two suggestions would be to add Repeat Alerts so you can set a task to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly and at a certain time. Also, instead of having to use a date wheel, maybe just implementing a calender. All in all, its still a very useful application. Thanks guys

Fast easy powerful flexible

just downloaded this to replace an old to do app that crapped the bed once the 3.0 software was installed. I couldn't be happier with this app! multiple lists are great, plus you can back them up by e-mailing them. plenty of customization options as well. a bargain at 99 cents.

Perfect blend of simplicity, functionality, and price. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Has everything I needed and more!!

Love it! I echo all the reviewers' raves and add another compliment - if you have emojis, you can add them to your list titles, which makes the lists more fun & visually appealing. One issue. When not using the app, it appears on my desktop featuring a number display that appears on the icon (like in the AppStore, the number bubble showing available updates). The simplist number bubble, reflecting the number of pending matters, is distracting and unhelpful. Either remove it entirely, or change what the number reflects, so it had meaning (I.e., the # of high priority matters). My suggestion is not new, I saw it in other reviews, which almost kept me from buying it. However, I'm sure the developers will work to make this small change and turn Simplist into a 10/10!! Thanks

I really list this application....i no longer have to write To Do Lists on Paper and lose them....I can make multiple lists, put notes within the items and sort by priority. This has made my life way easier!!!

Don't bother with the lite version. This app does everything a list app is supposed to do and then some 

This is my favorite list making app and I have tried many. Very fast and intuitive to use. I like that lists can be customized to have checkboxes or not, dates or not, and so forth. I had a question about the app and they got back to me in less than a day. My biggest suggestion for future versions would be to be able to change the font size. The large font and wide line spacing limits the number of items that can be seen on the screen at one time. It could be smaller and still be very visible.

Having purchased many of the available todo apps I have to say this is hands down the best one available. The only thing that would be better is a built in todo app that tied in with mobile me and ical, until then this is the todo app to have.

ok, so I have downloaded alot of these list programs and this one is imply the best. Easy to use, prioritize, sort and now email! outshines all the others by far

Great app! Very easy to use and configure. Lists can have checkboxes or not, so it works for generic notes and tasks. Not all tasks have due dates, and Simplist is flexible enough that you can define your own sort order (but you can still sort by due date if you must). You can move one task or all checked tasks to another list, so you can have a Done list. If you usually buy the same things at the store, create a grocery list with all the usuals. Check the ones you need and uncheck them when you buy them - it'll save keystrokes. Simple!

The most amazing list application I have seen out of every one! I have tried them all and this one is amazing!! I have been looking for one that you can have a list section, small title to check off with an area to have a longer description with it. This has all of that plus you can turn things on and off according to what you want! I love this! Incredible!!!!!

I like it and use it for several lists. Mostly for listing supplies needed. Simple to use and works great. Would be even better if I could Email the list to my supply provider. It would be great to be able to have option to email checked, unchecked or all of the list. That way I would not have to retype it in an email to order. Thanks.

I've downloaded and used several to do list (or tasks lists) and actually found this one mentioned in the review of another application and decided to check it out; while you are not supposed to mention another product in the review, I’m very glad they did. I first downloaded this app when the version was just 1.1 and was very impressed with it then (so much so that I removed the others I had been sampling and moved this application to my home row). Now, at revision 1.4, this app has only gotten better with items such as spell-checker (thank you!) and the addition of setting optional due dates (my wife loves giving me due dates for my “Honey Do” items. If I were to design a To Do list, this IS the way I would have designed it. Some of my favorites features are that you can create List with due dates and Lists without due dates (excellent!), you can order the List manually or alphabetically and then within the actual List, you can sort the items manually, alphabetically, by priority, or by due date (if you have the due dates feature turned on for the List). I also like when you start Simplist, if you have an overdue item, it pops up an alert box letting you know. There are more features but these are the main ones I was looking for when I was searching for a quality To Do list. I think so highly of this application that if you don’t like it, I'd almost be willing to give you a refund if you didn’t like this application out of my own pocket! Try it out and you will be impressed. Thank you for a quality written application.

Let me start by emphasizing that this is a great little application. You can create multiple lists, sort them pretty much anyway you like, prioritize items, check and/or delete items, ad personal notes to each item, set due dates, etc. etc. etc. Best of all, you can do so very quickly and at great ease (i.e. not complicated like many other similar programs).

I do have one small request for the developer:

Presently, when the application is closed, the total number of items that one has stored in the application is displayed on the icon. When one manages countless items, this large number becomes meaningless (and in that regard useless). I think it would be much better if the number of items listed on the icon would only pertain to the high priority items. This would give the user more meaningful information, namely the number items that require immediate attention.

Other than that, this is hands-down a 5-star program. I have owned several other "To-do"-List programs. But none of them have all the features this one has with such a simple way to get the job done.

I have used Check List Lite on my Palm for years and have been trying to find an equally great App for my iTouch. This is very close! I agree with the comment about the number of items posted with the icon. Not really helpful unless it would be limited to highest priority items. Two things I would like to see added. 1. The ability to check or uncheck all items in a list. This would allow reuse of a checklist. 2. The ability to show/hide checked items.

so far so good would like to see a way to set up a saved list template where I could open the templete, rename the list and all the same tasks on the list would load automaticly.

Simple is good.
Manual sorting is valuable.
Needs nothing.

Very nice application. Makes it easy & efficient to add, complete & sort items in multiple lists, without a lot of unwanted features getting in my way. If you're looking for an efficient way to replace simple lists scribbled on paper, you should definitely give Simplist a look.

This app does exactly what I need a list app to do. It's very quick to access, and has very clear lists.

- I can create multiple lists
- I can sort them either manually, which is a must have for me
- I can create items in list
- I can I can sort items in the list manually, which is a must have for me
- I can turn off prioritization. The order, which I set myself, works best for me.
- I can delete items that I've checked off, easily.

It truly is what the name says it is - a simple list. I love it. I tried 2-3 others, but they all had their problems.

I was so happy to find this basic list app! So many others are way more complicated than what I needed. Many others require you to enter priority levels or due dates and then only sort tasks by those fields. I just wanted to be able to create a list, add my tasks and then sort those tasks manually. Thank you for creating a simple list app that works without all the bells and whistles that many of us don't want or need (or want to pay for)! Update: now having used the app for a few days I have to add that I also love the ability to move tasks from one list to another. Very handy and time saving.

It's great if you forget every thing. Plus u have all u need to do all in front of u.

I'm a great believer in To Do lists, and I've checked out several on the App Store. Simplist has all the features I was looking for, it's intuitive, fast and stable, and the price is right. I recommend it highly.
