- The best portable chess EVER!
- This is possibly the best computerised chess program I have played! Small, simple but infinitely playable. Excellent!
- Great UI... but it beats me thoroughly at 1 second difficulty! Thanks a lot!
- I love your game! It's one of the best chess games I've ever played.
- Deep Green made me play chess again!

Recent AppStore Reviews:

Awesome!

If you're looking for a chess game, look no further - this is THE best chess game on the AppStore. Simple as that! Level of design details, user interface, features - everything is amazing!

The logo...

This is the best app game, but the logo...

a dollar app at most for full game, sry

2 stars for a clean layout... your engine is really bad. I am sorry it just doesn't place or eat peices correctly especially the pawns... lots of glitches

Game cheats

I can live with playing a hard CPU. The difficulty doesn't concern me. The out right blantent cheating or mis programing is unacceptable. I played two hours to have a rook slide straight threw 2 pieces to get the my bishop. What hope I had of winning was shot after that. It's like playing a punk kid that instead of loosing gracefully slaps the pieces off the board. I was about to buy this but not now.

Almost perfect

By FAR the best designed iPhone chess app, but the difficulty setting is flawed. Even at the lowest level it is too difficult. Please offer a lower level for kids and beginners. Otherwise it's perfect.

Beautiful, satisfactory demo. Full version too expensive!

This is easily the most beautiful, polished chess app on the iPhone right now. The developers made a wise choice by releasing a free lite version. After playing for a little while, the quality of this app (and the lack of a save feature) makes me really want to buy the full version.

HOWEVER, the $8 price tag on the full version is simply too high for me to justify the perchase. When the majority of the other chess apps cost between $0 and $5, $8 just seems like a bit of a rip-off. This is a shame because I really WANT to buy the full app after playing the lite version. Bring the price of the full version down and I will definitely be buying it.

Have some sense, negative stars

Need to be able to save your game and I really do not care what it says the lite version does compared to the overpriced top version for $8. Stop being greedy and put a save feature on this one cocoa. I appreciate your input txrockstr but please don't degrade people for their reviews.

thank you

as far as i can see their isnt a good reason for me to buy the full game, this is way better. im not sure what else you could give me for 8 bucks more. i got a chess board and a cocky computer that puts up a hell of a fight. why buy when this one is great and free? if you could, think about giving them funny sounds. like ohhhh!!!! when you do a good move or ouch when you take a piece. and for those who want a save option, its chess!!!! you have to take your time, why start a game if your not going to finish it?

Boaring

This game is no fun. I can appreciate a good challenge but this is just a show boat for some ones chess engine. Compared to the other 5 free chess games I have just downloaded this one was the leaset entertaining.

Can't win... And it's still fun

Wish there were an way to adjust deep greens IQ. Maybe let lite green step in every fifth game. :)

Good

Sounds make the game a bit more interesting, I love the graphics, they did a way better job then any other chess game. The computer is too hard for me to beat. :( good game overall
