Postman is advertized to be working with Facebook. Since the last software update (postman and facebook) it is impossible to use postman to post on Facebook.

Boy oh Boy does this app crash. It will NOT upload to Facebook. It always comes back with server error. It also just logs out of the app and you have to start all over again. A waste of money and time.
fun fun
This is such a fun app. I took a picture of my television with a leslie nealson movie on it and sent the postcard to my firends email who is in the navy, and he got a laugh out of it. It is an enjoyable way to keep people updated. fun fun fun
Awesome graphics and concept
Just won this app after looking at it for some time, never thought it could do what it does so simply. Everything is easy to use and the graphics are beautiful. I never really write postcards since the Internet is available everywhere, but with this, I can't wait till my next vacation to really use this. Not an absolute need for everyone, but a fun necessity bringing postcards back in a unique way.

Sends multiple copies!
I like the app, but twice it has sent 20 plus copies of one email. Kind of embarassing...update.....I give up, it still sends mutiple copies....over and over...great idea but unusable.
What a fun app
This is a very easy and fun app. I've taken quite a few pics and sent them along via email as digital postcards. They've given it some nice functionality. Yes, you can just attach pics to mail, but this is kinda another fun way to do that! :)
You still can't downsize the pictures
Nice concept, but work needed to make this a really good app.
Responsive developer
Less than a week after I posted a one-star review, the developer fixed every problem. The app is now pretty darn good. Kudos.
Can't seem to get it right!
Overall the function of this app is very good but it has a major flaw. The developer attempted to fix this but only seemed to go half way. You now have the ability to alter the size of the photo by enlarging it but not down ssizing to make the picture smaller. This is a major flaw as the app has custom framing functions but often times the picture won't fit in the frame as you are not allowed to make the picture smaller. Nice try but still lacking
One bug
Great, but needs to tell you when you run over on the text. I have found no way to handle this except by first downloading to my computer and guessing how much text will fit--then re-typing it. Fix this and U got it.
Worth the money
Easy to use and the post cards come out real nice. Not without it's flaws as the other reviewers have pointed out, but I think it's well worth the money.

Postcard snafu
HOW I wanted this app to work! Location: San Diego. Postcard doesn't allow itself to start fresh. I just can't have that. I deleted it in less than 24 hours--with only a test sent to myself. If they fix that, I'll spend another $0.99. Otherwise, it's clutter. Who wants anything to start in the middle of an old project? This isn't beta, and isn't free, so there's no excuse for such an unpolished release! Deeply disappointing!
Works well but you have to have five bars for it to work
Works nice if you have full signal on your iPhone. Otherwise it will freeze up on you. Just hope it works in Paris as advertised in the TV commercial. Not bad for a .99 cent appl.
OS 3.0 - NOT FOR FACEBOOK!
Very dissapointed ... nice concept, but posting to Facebook does NOT work under OS3 ... if you go to the publishers Facebook wall, you will see MANY PEOPLE UPSET ... but not any sollution! PS: NO STARS to apple for allowing "OS 3.0 Tested" to be displayed for this app!!!
Fun app but missing one major element
Really cool idea. On the next update, they should allow moving and scaling of the photos so the pics don't get cut off.

Great app for keeping folks up-to-date on where you have gone and what you are doing on a roadtrip, etc. Very user friendly and fast.

- would love to be able to have postage stamps other than from the US on the cards
- Facebook uploading bugs need to be fixed
- looking forward to the next update allowing us to resize and move pictures

Very cool and fun app!
I really like this app. It's very easy to use and it's a lot of fun to share photos with your family and friends. The only suggestion I have is to be able to remove the weather feature.

Works great... just don't like the weather parts (sunny, snow, etc.) - I think that takes away from the overall presentation - you should be able to opt out of using that part. Would give it more stars if this was fixed.
It's okay.
You can't beat .99 but the UI is way to chunky. Especially the bottom bar with "front, back, send" options. It takes up too much space so that I can't even position the text at the bottom of the card. It doesn't feel mac like. I know this company from their other programs on OSX and these too suffer from UI issues.

Love this app. It's the better one out there. I should know since I downloaded a few of the Pay Apps that just did not work as well as Postman.

Great, but I want to be able to adjust my picutres
Love this app, but I wish I could move my pictures around to fit in the postcard templates. Many of my shots show up either too large or positioned improperly.

Program would be great if it didn't always quit while trying to upload to facebook. 3 stars for now.
Best PostCard App of All!
I tried some other post card apps and was disappointed with quality and even that the emailed postcards were never delivered. But Postman delivered on all counts.
Note to Developer: In "Landmarks" what is labeled The Eiffel Tower is actually a photo of some trees at sunset. No biggie…except maybe to the French. ;~)

Simple and easy to use
This app is as simple to use as an Apple default app and the results are amazing.
Only complaint: I wish the Twitter link would have the option to simply twit a tinyurl link instead of posting "Please Mr. Postman, here's my postcard.". It's cute but really irritating.
For users complaining they can't clear their postcard and start over, all you have to do is shake the iPhone/iPod like an Etch-a-Sketch and a Clear All option pops up.

I love this ap. Does exactly what it says - allows you to create little custom postcards. The ability to use your iphone contacts is a plus. So easy to send photo immediately and compose a message. I have sent to another iPhone user and they were amazed!

This app is slick! I love all the customizable settings & the fact you can post to different social networking sites and personal blogs. Sometimes you want a personal touch and not just a plain email or text.... This app is it. You won't be disappointed, especially for the $.
Neat app but.....
It keeps freezing. I took my iPhone in for a check up and the diagnostic review showed this app was causing the problem.
Neat little app
Although it sort of falls into the "novelty item" bracket of apps, it is always fun to send someone you know a virtual post card like this. Especially if you are traveling somewhere and don't feel like using snail mail. In all, it's a great app. I can't wait to see how else they improve it!

I want a card, not an attachment!
This app doesn't send a card via email, it sends an attachment instead WARNING: My friends get a PNG file attachment that they have to open to see the card! hiCard sends real cards. Try telling my mother "mom, sorry, you must open the attachment to see the card" It just doesn't work. Also, not that many card choices. The reviewers for this version so far must be company employees of Freeverse.
Great app! Updates have been quick and effective
I liked the app two versions ago, and the recent updates have just made it amazing. This is a steal at .99. One of the only 5 star apps I have seen.

Postman is truly a pleasure to use with it's slick user interface and slew of customizations available without overloading the user. I use this to send gorgeous postcards to my girlfriend and she loves them. Surely a winner!
Definitely some room for improvement, too. Sure, there's that whole photo resizing and whatnot that could be implemented, but let's concentrate on even better, more profit-bound features. How about an in-app printing/mailing service (using iPhone OS 3.0 in-app purchases?) for sending physical cards via snail-mail? This is just the tip of the iceberg!

Great app but could use improvements!
I love this app however I had a problem with it on sending the post card! It somehow sent over 90 of the same post card to the same person! My friend was upset and thought I sent them on purpose until I explained to her I didn't! Anyways only other thing that would be cool to see is to have the chance or option to be able to have them sent to real postmail too! Some of my family doesn't have email and I would like to be able to share with them stuff too!

very easy to use. i send a postcard to my husband all the time. i love the location postcard option and the ability to upload to facebook and twitter.

One of the nicer postcard apps. Easy to use and the themes are nice.
I hope they add even more themes. Also, it'd be really cool if the postmark displayed the location.

Postcard that don't need stamps!!!
This app is fun and allows you to send a quick postcard to someone. You could take a picture while on vacation and let your friends and family know how much fun you are having. I have also used it for 4th of July with a picture of fireworks to wish everyone a happy holiday. You can easily send it in your email. One side is the picture and caption, if you like...and back is for your message. It is easy and fun...try it!

Will give 5 stars if below features got developed:
1. Reposition pic
2. Can use gps map as stamps and background of back. Stamps can be chosen from landmark or photo lib
3. Add more themes, especially potrait themes
4. Add more handwriting style font.

Cool - Needs Resizing
For 99cents, this is a pretty cool app. I like being able to use photos that are already in my library and create a postcard that I can email to someone, or even upload to Facebook. I'd give this five stars if it let you resize photos. Actually, I'd be happy if I could just move the photos around so that the part of the photo I want is centered in the template that I'm using. If they come out with an update that does this, it will be very deserving of five stars.

Super fun! Only needs to update and allow us to move around and crop our pictures to fit in the postcard. Other than that, a must have app!!

I love all the functionality you get for the price. hope future updates allow for cropping pics from your library and if possible add ping.fm under sharing.
Text is great. Themes are great. Photo placement not so great.
Very good on creating and manipulating text. The built-in themes and designs are good. But as far as I can tell, there is no way to position a photo within the frame, resize, or crop. This makes it impossible to use photos in which the center of interest is not necessarily the center of the photo.
Postman Delivers iPhone Perfection
I really have enjoyed this application ALMOST as much as my friends and family enjoy the postcards! A nifty application that is perfect for th iPhone.
One update I'd enjoy would be to tie the "postmark" to the photos' origin via the mapping feature.

Beautiful application & cards!
This beats any other greeting cards application out there.
It has one of the best, most Apple-esque interfaces of any application I've tried and creates cards that vould've been create by iPhoto or Apple Mail.
Most importantly: it seems like the developer is actually doing some work and submits real updates - not a "fixed the bug here everything crashes" fix - but real updates with new features. The app, despite still being young, recently got a great overhaul of the interface and now is even more elegant. It also received integration of Apple's new email slide-ups, introduced in iPhone OS 3.0. Now you don't get dropped into the mail application when you send the card but it simply slides up a compose view and sends it right out of the postcard app. Beautiful - and one of the first apps to actually make use of this new 3.0 feature.
Definitely worth its money. Friends love receiving custom-made things like these and now you can create them on-the-go. It's perfect.

On don't like having to choose between sending a map or a picture. There is no reason you couldn't have a picture on the front and a map on back. Right?
That's what I thought it did when I bought it. Please add in an update.

Intuitive and uncluttered
Postman is Mac-like: it just works. It offers enough options (backgrounds, typefaces, etc.) to construct a variety of interesting cards, but makes a very attractive presentation with the photo alone on the front and the message on the back. Integrates well with Apple's Mail program. And it's so intuitive that you can take a photo and have it "in the mail" in less than two minutes. Excellent app. (A few suggestions: institute portrait layouts, and fix the cropped newspaper background.)
Needs better email result
The format of the image is fine, however MS Outlook email recipients get the email as a PNG attachment instead of a rich text or html formatted "postcard" like Postage app prepares. POSTMAN has more features for posting and formatting flexibility, especially what's coming in the new release, but needs a better email format to get 5 stars. It would be nice to have a map AND a photo (Photo on front, map as a faded background image on the back), ability to disable the weather graphic on back, and possibly have additional "stamps". The Facebook post doesn't add the image to the Facebook profile, just links to the Postmanapp site.
Fantastic app
I love this app, I am a pilot and it is so easy to pull put my phone and take a quick pic to send to my son. Just to let him know I'm thinking of him. Can't always stop to send a card, postman let's me do it on the go. Thanks for the great app.

Beautifully designed and would be 5 stars if....
Props to Freeverse for a very slick app that's functional and fun to use, at a great price. The one thing that drives me nuts is that it doesn't accommodate photos in portrait format; the entire app is designed for horizontal/landscape formatted pics. (You can *use* a portrait-format pic, but it gets horribly cropped.) I'm desperately hoping they add portrait-format postcard abilities in the next version. And yes, as previsously mentioned, it would also be very helpful to be able to move/resize the photo once you've dropped it into the postcard.

Never written a review before but felt compelled as I really enjoy this app. Developer, I love the themes. I would love to see more in the future. My only disappointment and the reason I give this app 4 stars is the inability to rotate and resize photos. This functionality is imperative for creating the "perfect" postcard. I agree with other reviewers that the "weather" icon is pretty much useless. In short, thanks developer for this app. It allows me to send distant relatives and close friends a unique virtual postcard. I'll be on the lookout for an update. ;)

New version is amazing. Perfectly adressed the things that need to be fixed and then some.
Next update I would like to see the resizing and rotating of images in themes. Other than my comments below, it's kind of hard to find fault with this app. It's damn near perfect.

Yeah really fun cool app. The facebook and twitter integration are awesome! If they add scaling of photos, changing placement and size of text.. this app would be a home run!

For the price, this is a fun app that will be a quick and easy way to update friends and family about an upcoming trip. I'm glad I bought it.
It does, however, need some improvements like the ability to:
- control text size
- zoom pictures
- control text justification
With a few improvements, this could be a great app.

GPS not accurate
Everytime I try to use the GPS portion to show a position of me on the map, it is always inaccurate. And it's not off by a little, but a lot.
I have an iPhone 3G S and google maps ALWAYS has an accurate depiction of my location. This app does not.

Great so far! Excited for the update. Would also like to see use of GPS to have the option of making a custom postmark with the city and state where you send it from and/or where the photo was taken.

Which is really the only reason I bought this app. The only thing FB shows is that I sent a postcard. It doesn't go to the news feed, just to my own wall (lame) & there is no way to see the postcard I sent. If they could make this work the way it should on Facebook I would change my rating.

This is a great app for the price. I agree with othes that a split view with the map is a must. Also the ability to use other locations other than "current" would be nice for invites.
Movable text as stated in your upgrade release notes will be a plus. Can't wait to see future versions.

Good idea but it feels the developers were in a hurry to publish this app. It feels unfinished , the fact thY you can not resize the text is not acceptable or for the same reason crop the picture and much more. Get to work and finish this apps if you want to get a five.

Not cool as this is not stated here. Not every has or WANTS Corel. Was dissapointed after the post card couldn't be opened at the other end.

Why on Earth would anyone want to include information on the current weather on a card? Too weird!!!!! Take that off!

For two years now I've been waiting for a program that allows me to send a postcard to my family and friends without shopping for a postcard that someone else offers. I'm now able to use any of my photp's in the photo album or take a new picture to send to my family and/or friends. I truly looks like a real postcard being sent to the other person. It evan has a digital stamp which makes it look real. Very, Very Cool. I just hate taking time from my busy schedule and shopping for a postcard that will do from the rack and then find a stamp from all the stamps I've purchased in the last few years from the Post Office. Then I have to drive to the post office which uses gas and wait in line to make sure I'm using the right postage so I can mail it out snail mail. NOW, it doesn't matter and is very easy to do with this app. This is one of the few apps I use all the time now. If it's lengthy, I send an E-mail. If it's a few lines, I now use the Postman app.

Would be nice to be able to save "old postcard" but not a deal breaker, as they are archived in your email (just not editable).
And like someone else suggested, having a choice of stamps would be a nice extra touch.

Dissapointed
You are in the top 25 & have great reviews, so I purchased your app. False advertising because you don't post to Facebook. It just has a stamp on my wall that says I made a postcard. Postage & Lifecards are better options, although a bit expensive; they do what they advertise. You need updates soon to fix this. A map split with pic on front & writing on back would be preferred. Thank you.

This has the potential to be a truely great app. It just needs that update that's discribed in the preview ad. More templates please and the ability to move the "front of the card" text wherever you want. Oh, and more font colors, if you please. :D Keep up the good works.
Really nice!
This app is a great way to send a souvenir epostcard to someone! It reminds me the great service @mac.com which was discontinued but this app is a good and faster was of doing the equivalent! There is some issue with the size and orientation of the photo that should be corrected to make this app AWESOME!
