My kid's fav!!
We loved 5 Little Monkeys and had to get this one. Super creative, very cute animals, and loads of learning. Lots for them to play with and the puzzle pieces are easy to move around.*****BTW: that sheep is my kid's favorite animal!
Good potential, but too many problems
Ok, this app has good potential, but beware. The bugs kill the fun. And not the bugs on the farm, but the ones that plague the app. When choosing animals, the camel and the dinosaur cause a sound issue. The sound that they make continues to loop. It will not stop until you restart the program. And why does it take so long to load??? My 2 year old likes to mess around with it, but it does not hold up. The quality is a problem. Check out the Old MacDonald app by Duck Duck Moose. That one is the way to go. Much much better and my son loves it. If the bugs are exterminated on a future update, consider this farm. But until then, skip it. Trust me, the Duck Duck Moose developer makes this app smell like a pig sty. Sorry to be so harsh LoeschWare. Keep trying!
Would be great if it wasn't so buggy.
My 2 1/2 yr old likes it but the game is very buggy. Sometimes audio skips like a scratched cd, other times it will lock up at various times. Video is sometimes quirky and glitchy.
With the last update, the wheel motion seemed to get better, but there are just as many other bugs.
Such a cute game!!
I own a daycare and have 7 grandchildren. They love playing with this app! I'm impressed with how quickly their little fingers have learned how to turn the animal wheel in either direction, picking out which ones they like. It's such a cute game! And so many details!
Clunky
This game just isn't very good. A lot of things are clunky: it takes a long time to start, the wheel often spins in the wrong direction, the screen transitions have a flickering line, when you pick an animal that doesn't belong on the farm you can't do anything with it for about 5 seconds until the removal animation kicks in, you cannot control when you go back to the wheel screen, you cannot move or remove an animal from its spot on the farm, the sounds get overloaded, etc. Other than the donkey kicking an animal, it isn't very fun or satisfying either. I think their other app is better.
Errors, don't buy
This app contains a bug or something. You cannot even hear the animals over this loud siren that continually pounds your ears. I want a refund, I will not show this to my daughter. Y the loud annoying sound of a dying animal in a kids game??
Mother of all farm apps!!
So many fun animals to choose from to place on the farm: my daughter was thoroughly engaged for a long time! I've had to put a limit on how many times she can play as she asks for it a lot. Thanks for making this great game: my little one has already learned a lot! :-)

Nephew's Favorite App
My little Nephew loves this app...he just turned two and is big into Farm Animals so it's perfect. This game works like a puzzle and he was quick to place them about the farm. He loves the way the wrong animals are kicked off by the Donkey!

Lived it until recent update. Now it's jumpy & the animals don't make their sounds when touched as promised inthe lady update. Please fix it,
My Little Girl's Favorite App
My 2 year old is in a farm animal phase so this game hits the spot. She likes how many of the animals don't belong and get exploded (she says blowed up!), pulled off, or kicked off by the donkey.
I see some complaints about sound in reviews, it runs great on my iPhone 3GS....I believe the game requires OS 3.0 and higher......
Dad of Three LOVES IT!
This app is the favorite of my 2 yr old and 4 yr old boys. Great graphics, well done and very interactive. They have the most fun by putting the "wrong" animals on the farm and then seeing them pulled off of the screen by Old Macdonald and his tractor. ( I think that is pretty funny too ). GREAT JOB LoeschWare!
Great app for kids. Love the wheel. Entertains and educates.
This app keeps my kids entertained and educates them at the same time. The music is great and the kids can sing along easily with it. A must have!!!
Needs a fix
After my daughter selects one animal, this app starts freaking out. Sounds like one of the animals -- a frog or pig, perhaps -- is making noise constantly. You can't even hear the other animal noises. This app has such great potential, please fix it!

Very neat app for kids to discover.
My kids really like this game (ages 2 & 6). They each have their favorite animals and they love to pick them out of the wheel in the sky. The animal circle in the sky reminds me of the song by Journey "Wheel in the Sky"! :-) Very clever idea!

Disappointed
The farm page gets tiresome really quickly, and the animals on the farm don't respond when touched. Also, the "animal wheel" doesn't seem to be intuitive for 3 year-olds - they should have maybe tried this out with them first. The music is just ok.
Old McDonald
This app keeps my toddler involved and he has a great time doing it. He enjoys the animals and learning has become fun for him. I would recommend this app for any parent of a toddler. Best of all when you are out to dinner it keeps him happy so both of you can eat a hot meal, awesome concept for parents.

My 2yr old likes it but it's a step behind other applications like:

#3. I see ewe ( a must have)
#4. Preschool adventure
The thing about this app that needs some work is it's ability to interact more... Even if a simple thing like let the animals make a sound or something.

Very limited - good thing it was only 99 cents
Not very good
It didn't keep my 2 1/2 year olds attention. Took to long to load and it would lock up frequently. My son likes the games and apps that do something when him touches the screen this just doesn't do much.

The most entertaining and educational app on itunes, handsdown. The graphics are adorable! My children can learn their animals, the Old MacDonald Song, and where each animal lives with just this one app! Brilliant!

My son was bored
My son will be 7 in two months but this was boring for him. He said I don't want to play that again. He has high functioning autism. This is very babyish!
Old MacDonald fun for the whole family!
My nephew loves this game. He enjoyed playing the other LoeschWare title Five Little Monkeys so much we had to purchase Old MacDonald when we saw it. I think its truely touching to see parents making a difference in childrens lives by creating these wonderfully fun games. Your kids will love this game! A great use of $1.99!
Great game
This is a great thought provoking game that helps kids identify animals and where they live. Cute music and cute graphics. My nearly three year old really enjoys it!
Not much of a game
The previous reviewers gave this app. a sterling review with five stars, but they must be on crack or something, this really is not much of a game and it's def not 'really' interactive. The graphic are just okay at best. My three year old just looked at, tried to touch the screen in order to make something happen, but there was no real action there for him :-(

Great app for toddlers
As a daddy to a toddler, I really appreciate simple apps like this that keep my son entertained. The game is fairly simple so even the youngest toddlers can figure out how to play. I like the fact that my toddler has to think about which animals go on the farm and not just select all of them. Easily worth the 1.99 I spent and my toddler really does enjoy playing the game.

My neice had a blast with old macdonald. It kept her busy the whole time we were at outback.
Old MacDonald by Loesch Ware
Did someone press the "cute" Button? OMG the artwork & animals are adorable, clear & charming. This is a bright example of what kids really want & can identify with. It goes along with the supplemental animal sound books, puzzles and games. We have fun with this. Thanks so much ..this app saved us on a long plane ride & I'm sure the passengers around us will agree. WHEW !!! Thanks again for a winning toddler distraction.
Fantastic App
Old MacDonald is fun and entertaining for the kids. My niece would not put it down. The animal wheel is especially entertaining! Developer also donates a portion of the proceeds to autism charities. A win win all around-great app supporting charity!
